Classic craftsmanship
Silver gelatin prints are made with traditional darkroom techniques dating back to the early 1900s. An emulsion of light-sensitive silver salts coats the photographic paper. When exposed to light, the image is formed, which is then developed in chemical baths.
Depth and detail
The gelatin layer coating the print captures intricate textures and details in an image. Pieces reveal deep blacks and high contrast, with a wide tonal range and a level of dimensionality to the image. The look of a silver gelatin print is distinct from any other.
The edition size ensures that only the number of prints indicated will ever be produced. Each print is proofed, reviewed, numbered, and signed, and includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity that is unique to your artwork.
Artist Proofs are exclusive prints produced before the numbered edition to test for quality. They are typically reserved for the artist, family, or specific collectors. Artist Proofs are limited to 3 for each edition.
